We saw some other interesting things such as this row of cute houses. If you take a closer look you'll notice that they are only a facade. There's not much to these buildings! Oh well, go figure :) 

 

 

As we neared the beach, we saw some people fishing from a pier.

  

 

Finally, we hit sand. The weather was absolutely perfect! It was a balmy 75 degrees with ample golden sunshine. This was Thanksgiving day and we practically had the whole beach to ourselves.

 

Bill was the first one to reach the water and he just had to pause to take it all in.
